Accelerated Multi-Engine Program: train in a real twin, checkride on day 9.
Our beautifully maintained 1972 Piper PA-23-250 Aztec is one of the most stable, forgiving and capable light twins ever built. Unlike smaller twin trainers, this six-seat aircraft gives you real experience with complex systems, asymmetric thrust, engine-out procedures and IFR-style workload.
Need flexibility? One day may be used as an off day for weather or travel — or condense the program to as few as 7 days.
$5,300 program
10 hours of flight time in the Aztec
9.5 hours of dual instruction
Accelerated 9-day schedule
Checkride scheduled for day 9 (examiner fee not included)
Aztec rental: $430/hr wet + $65/hr multi-engine instruction. Private pilot or higher, 100 hours total time and MEI sign-off. Based at AFJ.
